That's my OPINION!!: A Schism in SCOTUS
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) stands at the apex of the nation’s judicial system. Each year, it hears roughly 80–90 cases that shape the lives of millions of Americans, addressing issues from healthcare access and civil rights to representation in the national government. Since 1894, the court has been seated by nine unelected justices, a reality that has grown more contentious as polarization increases. How much power do these judges wield? How are they held accountable?
These questions will be put to the test in a committee that brings together justices and interest groups to argue a case. Which side will prevail? Who will do what it takes to secure victory?
Remember your only limit is yourself.
